Therapy

shaped around you.

Face to face therapeutic counselling based in Shoreham-by-Sea, in the cosy lodge or working online across the UK.

I also offer local home-visits and walk-and-talk therapy.

Calm, collaborative therapy where safety and connection come first. A place to find a way forward with more peace and clarity.

You may be tired of holding it all together. Of feeling too much. or nothing at all. Of surviving in ways that once made sense, but now leave you feeling exhausted and alone.

You may have reached for help before and not felt truly heard or understood.

I know that being vulnerable can feel scary and unknown. Together, we can go gently, at your pace, with care and respect for how hard you have worked to survive

This space is for you, just as you are.

It may have taken a lot of courage to get here.

Hi, I’m Becky…

I’m a real person first, and a counsellor second.
My training and experience matter, of course they do, but I don’t think people heal because someone has the perfect technique. I think change begins when you feel safe enough to be yourself, without being judged.

This is your space.
You have all the power and authority in it. I’m your guide and your ally, not a guru. I’m here to walk alongside you, to really listen, and to help you make sense of what’s going on.
Together, we can explore how your past has shaped you and how it may still be showing up in the present.

I see therapy as a collaborative and relational process. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to be right there with you, helping to gently untangle what may have become buried, confused or difficult to hold alone, while supporting you to reconnect with your own inner wisdom and strengths.

You do not have to get it right here.
You can take your time. You can be unsure. We will go at a pace that feels right for you.

By the time you get here, you may already have had a long day, a hard week, or be carrying more than anyone else can see.

My hope is that this space helps you exhale a little.

The therapy room is warm, private and cosy, with a calm, homely feel. We can make a hot drink, get comfortable, and if it helps, I have blankets, a hot water bottle, weighted blanket or music. Whatever you’re dealing with, the space can be somewhere to rest your body and mind.

I also have arts and crafts, fidget toys, sand-tray and clay we can play with during sessions, if that feels right for you.
